This homeowner was interested in a renovation and redesign of both the front and back yard gardens. After consulting with the client, it was evident she loves to garden, is interested in a variety of different plants, colors and bloom. The challenge, however, was to make it cohesive.
The key to a successful garden design is in the planning. Here there was a need for structure, form and seasonal interest. Planting for continued bloom can be challenging without a design plan. The idea is to offer suggested pairings, plant material well suited to the site, and most importantly to meet the needs of the client.
